Moritz-Prado Pinot Noir, 2019, 13%

We loved Alsace winemaker Moritz-Prado's Riesling so much we've now added their Pinot Noir too. This is a great expression of the grape, tons of fruit and freshness and now with some signs of maturing after 4 years in the bottle.

Look for ripe red cherry and bramble fruit on the nose with rich violets and some candied red fruit. The pallet has some weight but is still crunchy, full of redcurrant, red cherry and warm strawberry. Long, strong finish with touch of green stalkiness.

Pairing: juicy burger, or veal.
