Antidote, France, 2020, 10.5%

The antidote to thirst. The antidote to boring wines. The antidote to our light red cravings. This is a Grolleau and Cabernet Franc blend from the Loire, up in the north of France where they make top quality light, refreshing reds. 

Light ruby in colour and unfiltered (as all wines should be in my opinion). Cranberries, pomegranate, cherry, and strawberry - basically an explosion of crunchy, fresh red fruits. Deliciously refreshing and immensely quaffable because of the relatively low ABV. Vegan.

Pairing? A great picnic wine! The producers call it a "breakfast wine" but I'm not sure we can endorse that.
