The premium red from the Castuo Wines selection. We fell in love with this project in the west of Spain, Extremadura, where winemaker Fernando is producing natural wines from unusual grapes (many of which are actually Portuguese), crafting beautifully pure, delicious wines. This is wild fermented and aged in concrete before being transferred to 300L used French oak barrels for 6 months. Cherry red colour with an intense nose of red and black fruit with herbal notes. Lovely fresh acidity and persistent length balances the wine beautifully.
